 about

I became a psychotherapist because I believe that in order to live our best lives we need to understand ourselves on a deep level.  Psychotherapy, to me, is about getting to know and accept yourself, understanding how you relate to yourself and the world around you, learning better ways to manage emotion, and healing past traumas.

I received my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Expressive Arts therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.  Lesley is a leading institution in the study and training of psychotherapists specializing in expressive therapies.

I have experience working with all age levels and work with children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

I offer various play therapies for children. I have experience using art therapies for people and families living with Alzheimer's disease and for children on the Autism spectrum.

I believe in kind, compassionate care as I travel with my clients on their journey towards mental wellness. I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and live a happier, healthier life.
